Arrived today for our overnight stay 2.2.19 which was booked in December 2018. Hotel was closed! No one around and phone number connects to an American booking centre who refer you back to groupon. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Once we had booked with hotel then any cancellations should come directly from them and not groupon. Definately will not be booking with this hotel chain again . I see there have been a few hotels that have been taken over by them. Long drive home in the dark for us. Wouldn't even give this a 1 star rating but there is no option for -1
I had recently booked to stay here for a winter break and just two weeks before my stay they cancelled my reservation due to renovations which i think is outrageous as they messed me about by not even offering alternative accomodation at another facility at such short notice therefore me resulting having to cancel my whole trip and getting no help or assistance with finding somewhere to stay and dont get me started on trying to recieve a refund. I will never use best western again and certainly wouldnt advise booking with them ever
A warm and friendly welcome, good sized room with decent bed. Good food.
Arrived in evening to be told restaurant is closed "due to an issue." Offered a table at a nearby hotel - I declined. I suspect the "issue" was that the Queens Hotel was too quiet to keep kitchen staff working. Spartan room. No radio, even through the television. Staff pleasant.
Just spent a brief overnight stop here. Rooms very comfortable and spotless. Staff very helpful and attentive. Recommended.
