We have stayed here many times and it is always comfortable. The hotel itself needs a lot of money spent on it but the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is excellent - it's buffet style and the food is delicious. We have sometimes had dinner here. It is lovely and excellent value - this time, 14.95 for 3 courses to residents. For a few days away, it suits us very well, and it's right on the Esplanade, with beautiful views across the bay.
Had a lovely time here, clean and very friendly staff. Great views if you get a sea view room. Would recommend this for nice weekend away.
Thought our experience at this hotel was good. Our room was adequate but a bit old fashioned though spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good. We felt the location was great, right in the hub of Oban.
