A lovely quaint museum filled with a vast array of artefacts that tell the history of Oban and the Western Isles throughout war and peace. A key focus on the military contribution of locals, the predominant naval history that is evidenced through their rescue services too. Well worth a visit.

Am unexpected find. I learned so much about the experiences of the people of Oban during the war. Exceptional.
The best collection of war memorabilia I have seen. Well sorted and displayed. It is an honour in remembrance of the men and women who served in the area and nationally. The volunteers are knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have.
