Really lovely hidden away gem of a bar/restaurant. Great local fresh food and clean Scottish ale. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We kept popping in for a drink after a long day out walking and exploring. They are super dog friendly with treats for your four legged friends. All in all Good food, good beer, and a log burner to dry the hounds.
Good food. Varied menu. Average vegitarian menu could be better. We have visited here many times since early 1980"s with it being run by four different owners. Lovely setting. Access to good short walks.
Excellent place! I've been visiting it every year since 1989. Great vegan alternatives, I asked them to customise a non-vegan meal and they were so happy to accommodate my requirements. Even had vegan cider! Lovely and cosy.
