Great local hospital looking after us all in time of need.
I live near the hospital and had to be taken in numerous times with severe stomach pains to a&e 9times in total I kept getting the same foreign I think she was polish doctor and her rude assistant doctor who sent me home with buscopan which made my symptoms worse then tried to give me laxatives that I was allergic to. They made me feel like a nuisance and then kicked my family out of the room to ask personal questions regarding my past as a teen when I was depressed and overdosed. Strange. Then they wrote a letter out it in a envelope told me not to open it and give it to my gp and any future problems with my stomach to go to gp. I had a cyst that grew and burst and nearly fatally killed me and passed kidney stones at the same time so no exaggeration on the pain. They refused certain tests and couldnt figure out the problem but I opened the letter in it they told my gp I had mental problems and the pain I was having was a quote figment of my imagination and they believe I did this for attention! Outrageous the nurse named rhona in ward b was so incredibly rude and told me I shouldnt be lying in bed all day to sit in the chair and as I got up she said oh finally you decided to get up Ive been in ward A loads of times and they were wonderful. Even had lovely midwifes named Gillian and Ronnie during pregnancy who were wonderful but the two doctors have ruined my life with their damaging letter as it is now on my records. Neglectful and they still work their the polish doctor has short dark hair and glasses and her assist had a scruffy appearance with ponytail very very bad abusive people the way I was spoken to and treated was ridiculous
Clean, friendly, quality treatment. All the people I met from the surgeon to the paper guy were terrific. The NHS In Scotland can be proud of this facility.
Only been in since sat but all staff have been great. Cant fault it in any way. Just started to have food and its that good you could set up a posh restaurant here as the food is that good. Doctors nurses cleaners and all other staff are 100% if you are going there at all it is a nice place to be and very clean.now home I would like to thank all staff in ward A & B for all the support and help I got when I was in nothing was to much for them and always with a smile
I was in Ward A recently for a colonoscopy. The team in Ward A couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable. I experienced a lot of genuine kindness. I would say a good place to be if you need to be hospitalised!
